knife sharpeners

What are you guys experiences or opinions on the electric knife sharpeners that are out there
work sharp
work sharp ken onion
chefs choice
etc.
I know that a wet stone and the old school method is a great way to go, but I am just looking for a quick and easy way to touch up home kitchen knives such as chef knives, pairing knives as well as pocket and hunting knives.

  I don't use mine a bunch on tools and stuff, just knives, so I bought the Work Sharp but not the upgraded Ken Onion. I just use the medium belt in most cases and then use a leather belt for a strop and it's scary sharp.

There is a lot of support for the Worksharp.
For less $, people buy the Harbor Freight 30x1" belt sander and there are dozens of belts available in that size.

Standard WorkSharp here.  The only rub I have on it is that you have to be real careful around the tips.  They can get rounded off if not.

If you stop pulling the knife when the tip gets to the middle of the belt and release the trigger there is less chance of rounding a tip. Or that's what my instructions say to do and I've been doing that so far with no rounded tips.

I don't care for electric sharpeners, I do have the Work Sharp guided sharpening system I love that the stone pivots so you don't have to change angles on the tip. When I feel lazy I have a Craftsman grinding wheen made specifically for bladed tools.

Edgepro apex is what i use to set the bevel.  I keep my knives sharp with a spyderco ultra fine bench stone.  I really like this system.

You wont find a better knife sharpener than the Nirey sharpener, I've had mine for 10 years its the choise of professionals,

I have several, my can not do without is a whetstone and oil. Lanskys work, most electric work if you are careful. I will take a whetstone and oil.

Lansky is good, but I prefer the Edgepro (actually I have one of the Chinese clones).

If anyone wants to buy my Edgepro kit with diamond stones PM me, I just don't use it much anymore.
