Nova Scotia Bear hunt
« on: June 02, 2017, 08:08:15 PM »
I am going on a black bear hunt in Nova Scotia in late September which I will get a chance to shoot a bear with my bow over bait. I am curious if anyone has hunted Nova Scotia for Bears & deer before and maybe you can post some pictures

I've visited there, but never hunted it.   We took a raft out into the Bay of Fundy on an incoming tide.  It funnels into there and makes for some unique and rather large waves.

Good luck on the bear hunt!

Very cool I'm flying into Halifax so hopefully there will be a lot to do when we are not hunting

The amount of water that moves in and out of that bay is unbelievable!

A friend of mine did the Alberta hunt over bait.  As he was posing with the bear he harvested another came in for a photo bomb :chuckle:

That is cool but scary too I got invited to go to Nova Scotia to experience the hunt so the hunts will be available for next year with the outfitter so if you are into hunting bears look for this hunt in the future
