First timer
« on: August 29, 2016, 03:20:53 PM »
Well I drew this Tearaway bull tag and "had" to get some trail cams. I set out this one to try it out, I took lots of pictures however only a few elk. I have it soaking again we shall see!

Yes they are, I already have them back out. The problem I had I think was light throughout the day triggering it.

Those shrubs in front of your camera should go........they will trigger your camera when the wind blows

Believe me, I've deleted a lot of wind photos!  The other benefit of removing such things is....... getting unobstructed photos of your intended subjects :)

Yes they are, I already have them back out. The problem I had I think was light throughout the day triggering it.

The light/heat can trigger them, as well as the moving bushes. If its aimed at a spot that gets strong sun surrounded by shade it will trigger because the sun spot is a higher temperature than the surrounding area.
I have 1 cam set that gets a lot of these sun spot pics everyday at 1300. (but its a really good spot so I leave it there)
