My first set up!
« on: August 30, 2016, 12:39:36 AM »
Hello guys! My third post here!

Got all parts today and put it all together!

Here is my first fire arm i will own!
Im very exited!
Its Savage Mark II FV SR with 4,5-14x40 Mueller APV AO scope.

Just pass safety course online yesterday! 93% )
In two weeks will have practice in Issaquah.
Hope will pass it too and ill be ready for small game after some practice)

Yep. Yep.
After long time without serious shooting just bought a rifle )
Im so exited cause in other countries where i lived is not easy at all to get firearm.

My wife doesnt know that i spend 500$ for rifle. She is against weapons)
She will freak out after came back from vacation. )

Here is it.
Any suggestions on how to mod it?
Definitely will build cheek rest on this stock. May be carbon fiber one (have some materials leftovers).

Welcome to the club.  The good news is, 22LR ammo is getting easier to find!  Have fun.

Congrats on your first rifle mister.  A .22 is what many of us started out with to learn firearm basics (safety, shooting steady hold factors, etc.).  It's a great little round (and inexpensive to shoot) that will give you many enjoyable outings.  Now go out and get some grouse this fall!

Look like a good "trainer" rifle.

A lot of people get a stock pack like this (https://www.triadtactical.com/Triad-Stock-Pack.html), then used something like carboard or hard foam taped to the stock underneath the pack to get a higher cheek weld.

Good luck.
