Forgot about this thread.  Twenty yard shot, ran about eighty yards, I shot a little quicker than I should have since he was looking at me.  I hit lungs high and back so very little blood trail but completely bled out internally.  180 pounds "on the hoof", heaviest deer harvested in ten years out here.

My buck for the year.  Got him on the third evening sitting in a treestand.  I have watched him grow up for the last few years.  Huge body.  Carcass weighed 142lbs at the butcher.

what is the spread on his front tines? Looks like mine from last year....except mine was smaller I believe!

The Heart is my favorite meal, I've had the same "bad" luck on my last two. A down deer is the goal though, good shooting and nice buck
