He was a nice 3x3 before the fall. Never found the broken half.

As we used to say in the '80s - Bummer!  He'll still eat well.  Nice job everyone.

yeah nice job all.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Seen him a couple miles away with my spotting scope walking through a cut. Made a 20 minute drive around the hills. Walked in and glassed for about 15 minutes when I seen a doe and she had seen me. I kept watching thinking that buck must still be around. Sure enough as the doe walked away and up over a high spot the buck followed her moving into sight. Very thankful for that hunt and for him.

Been after this one for awhile. He started rubbing last week. I had favorable wind this morning and heard something coming. First came the doe, so I waited her out and snuck up around some brush and took this guy about 40 yards. 3 point with nice eye gaurds. My first black tail with eye gaurds, I've killed bigger bucks but no eye gaurds

Wife's 3rd buck. Said she didn't want another 2 point. Haha. 8 months pregnant with our first child. Will be quite the story for our new baby girl!
