I throw it in a game bag with the meat or a bag with the hide.

Mouth or ear. I normally skin out skull ,so that don't work for me. so I put it inside the pad on one of the legs

I usually put a stick in the mouth to hold it open so that a tooth can be pulled easier. I'm sure the mouth would also be a good place for a tag too.

I'm just glad SuperOne has good meat prices from time to time. And I can donate my extra cash to WDFW for tags I don't notch.

I'd call it tag soup as my fav. But it's more like tag stew due to the tag concentrate I've added over the years.

I like to carry zip tie's in my pack, you can zip tie it to the biggest piece of meat or to the body if whole. Good luck
