Yes. Arrow stuck 2 feet into the dirt behind it.  480lb bear last year full pass through as well along with a 3 point blacktail full pass through. Very happy with these broadheads.

So many outfitters ban mechanical broadheads I'm hesitant to go there but damg thats impressive.   On the wetside you need something to drop em quick.

Why would mechanical broad heads be " banned " from m outfitters from everything I've seen they are very impressive

Historically past designs sometimes fail to open or break on impact.    Mayb the newer ones have solved the problem - the rear opening sounds much less likely to fail ?

Switched to mechanical this year.  In the past I have been lucky with watching them go down.  I still trail for practice.  Even on heart shots the blood trails with fixed blades left a lot to be desired.  I forget who said it and what exactly was said but it was along the lines of with mechanical's there is a slight chance it will fail, but you are guaranteed to have *censored*ty blood trails with fixed blades.  Out here Id think you would have more of a chance of not recovering an animal due to *censored*ty fixed blade blood trails/less cutting diameter than having a mechanical fail.

IL take savora's cruddy fixed blade blood trails over a slight chance of failure any day

You get a really sharp fixed blade with a good design and there will be blood...lots of it
