2 of 3 sheep hunters have tagged out. We are the only ones left hunting. The other hunter shot a 168" ram.  Today we only saw ewes and lambs.  But checked out a couple of new spots and got some good Intel for tomorrow morning.  Feeling confident as I go to sleep.

One of the spots we scouted was propellor meadows.  The location of a B-24 crash site

The jeep is taking a beating in the SE Oregon desert. The Antelope hunt a couple of weeks ago and now this sheep hunt will probably shorten her life by a couple of years. But she's still running strong at 192,000 miles

Get 'em, Carl!

Love the reports.
Thanks learning a ton about sheep hunting. Unfortunately it's on the job training and only have 9 more days to get it done.

Still grinding. The hot tip didn't pan out.  But it wasn't a total bust. I did find the jaw of the very rare prehistoric saber tooth jack rabbit

Day 6 without a shower, I bet I don't smell like a desert flower. I wonder if the sheep will care, that it is day 2 in the same underwear?

That's not the kind of update we're looking for Carl. Keep your hygiene status and underware day count to yourself...now back to the hunting

My brother and nephew are somewhere up on top to the left. I told my dad if they spot a good Ram I'm tying a rope to him and dragging him to the top :)

Sounds like a great hunt. Will be following this. Looks like antelope country.
