Grouse opener 16'
« on: September 15, 2016, 09:32:28 AM »
The wife and I made it out for the 16' opener! Met up with some good friends and had a blast. Low numbers this year. but there was some birds. too many ORV riders. Dry, warm and had a heavy spring rain that most likely washed out the eggs...but we came home with 5 birds and the wife made a fricken delicious grouse pot pie!!!    :IBCOOL:

Looks like a fun time.  I ran into some ORV riders yesterday as well, but they seemed to stay on the main dirt anyway.
Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

yeah some are courteous. . others are not. we got ran off the road numerous times. . but it is what it is. I am trying to find new ground that doesn't have an ORV park or that has been burned up from all the fires. .

oh man! I wish I would've taken a pic of that. . sadly I don't have one. . simple though, just a traditional Chicken pot pie recipe. . but with grouse birds in it. This one had extra in it! 5 birds!!  Wild turkey is good as well. My dad CANNOT stand wild turkey meat.. . my wife a turkey pot pie! Dad loved it!
