The attack pants are awesome. I wore them on a 4 day hike with temps from high 60's down to low 20's. We had wind, rain and wet snow. They kept me warm and dry the whole time. When it was too warm the hip nets were great. I have the teton long sleeve t's and they are really nice too. I do prefer first lite merino to the kuiu though. It's not bad, it's just not as comfortable in my opinion.

For what it's worth keep an eye on rokslide.com. there is always kuiu, sitka and first lite gear for sale in the classifieds

Tops seem to run a size small, my only complaint so far for my rain jacket

The guide pants and gaitors are worth their weight in gold.  I just bought some Chugach raingear but they haven't been tested yet.  The guide jacket is really nice as well.  The only piece that I haven't been 100% happy with is the Teton soft shell jacket, it doesn't breathe well and doesn't have pit zips.

I'm not super impressed with my teton softshell either. It's just okay. I'll try the teton pants this weekend

Both the Chugach and Yukon gear is really solid stuff for rain gear, can't go wrong with either of those. If you like pockets on your pants get the Yukon

I have Kuiu Gaiters.  Love 'em.  IMHO their gear is every bit as good as Sitka, for a lot less $$.  We met one of the owners of Kuiu in the airport on our way home from our caribou hunt in Alaska last month.  Those guys really hunt.  It's not a fashion company.

The pants are just a little on the snug side. I'm a 32 and they are just a tad tight in the waist. Nothing bad or uncomfortable though and they do loosen up a bit when your wearing them.

They are great kinda like a no bells and whistles modle of my alpines. Never ran the attack so i dont have those to compare it to. For the money and early to mid season pants they are great.

I have the Tetons but I haven't worn them in the field yet like I have the attack pants. The Tetons don't have hip vents and seem to be a little lighter fabric. I bought some for earlier season hunting I'll be wearing them this weekend chasing bears

well I just pulled the trigger and ordered there gear I hope its here by the 28th of this month don't know how long it takes for them to ship. I like light gear consider I like to hike a lot of the back country and everything else I have tried I seem to sweat a lot in so hopefully this works out!

As long as it was IN stock it will be delivered 3-5 days. Every in stock piece I ordered, I got very fast.

I really like all my Kuiu gear. The tiburon stuff has been great for early season hot weather. The bino harness has been another favorite of mine.

I am noticing that most of the comments about stuff being so-so is in relation to their Teton series.  Keep in mind this stuff is their cheapest "entry level" gear.

Can someone give me input on the length of their pants?

I'm short, a 30" inseam, 32 will work.  I wear a 32 to 33 waist so im looking at the 34" pants

They don't have the inseam lengths listed on their size chart.

im about like you. I usually wear a 32x32 size jeans. I ordered the attack pants in size 34 and they fit me almost perfect in the waist with a little help from a belt. They are also a touch long on me but not enough to worry about. They are awesome pants!

My pant size is 33x30.  I buy the size 34 in Kuiu and then hem them, taking off a couple of inches.

Fair warning, they are out of a lot of pant sizes in Verde.
Emailed them earlier this week, they aren't looking to get more in anytime soon.

That's the main frustration with them. When it's in stock you need to order it right away. LOL

Last week I added a few items to my cart, got distracted, and went to check out later (couple hours)  too late, out of stock.  :bash:

Light to moderate rain you'll be fine, downpour you'll be soaked. They're water resistant softshells not rain shells.
