Big Game Hunting Adventures 2016 South Africa Season
«
on:

The 2016 hunting season has begun in South Africa and we're off to a great start. Last year (
http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,176079.0.html
), our hunters took several magnificent waterbuck and that good fortune has carried over to this year with this massive, heavy horned bull taken in March. We took an absolutely incredible mountain reedbuck on the same safari. Though it's not as physically imposing as the waterbuck, it may actually be the new world record mountain reedbuck. Stay tuned for more details on it once we get it officially scored.
In addition to the waterbuck and mountain reedbuck, we also took a great black wildebeest, blesbok, and impala to round out the hunt. Photos of all the animals, along with video of the black wildebeest and impala are below.
We've still got a few animals left on quota this year, so if you're interested in a hunt, check out our

This kudu was recently taken on our hunting area in Limpopo Province. As you can see from the scars, he certainly lived an interesting life.

Today was a busy day in South Africa with a client taking both of these great buffalo within just a few minutes of each other.

The same hunter bagged this beautiful sable the next day after many miles of hard walking.

We were privileged to host a few hunters on their African safari this month. One of them was fortunate enough to take this magnificent kudu and stunning impala.

We're also having an excellent year for hunting pigs in South Africa. Bushpig are notoriously difficult to hunt, but after several days of tough hunting, one of our hunters took this great boar on our main hunting area in Limpopo Province. In a really dry year like the one we're having in South Africa, the warthog hunting can be pretty tough. However, another one of our hunters still managed to bag this outstanding boar on our hunting area in Gauteng Province.

September and October are both really hot months in South Africa, but the hunting is absolutely fantastic for those who can deal with the heat. Our last two clients hunted hard and were rewarded with absolutely outstanding buffalo.
