2016 Utah High Desert Mule Deer Hunts
I have 4 mule deer hunts available Oct 3-6 on a 12,000 acre ranch in northwest Utah only a few miles from Nevada and Idaho. You will be the first deer hunters on the ranch, it's a 4 day hunt with camp and meals provided. This is the same ranch that guide Nick called in the 376 bull the lady shot last week. While elk hunting he saw two dandy bucks with 26" to 28" racks, he said both bucks had tall racks with deep forks, very nice bucks. Shooting opportunity is normally 90% to 100% with most hunters getting shots at bucks with 20" to 26" spreads, but we have seen and killed bucks exceeding 30" and the highest scoring buck taken on the ranch by a lady hunter measured 204", but I tell hunters not to expect that large of bucks.

Cost is $3650 plus 7% sales tax and $338 license/tag fees.

Only 10 hunters hunt deer on this ranch each year. The last two years these hunts have been sold out to repeat hunters. This year I have 4 hunts available during the first week, you will be the first deer hunters on the ranch. Photos below are of various sizes of bucks taken on the ranch.

Man that lady has a Masher!!!!!

They typically don't like having that said about them lol

That's really intriguing, I wish I wasn't already committed, hopefully you have some openings in the next year or two I can take you up on.

Yes, I have a 10 year lease so hunts are available for future years as well, but about half the hunts will be reserved by the same group that comes every year, so I'll probably have 4 tags available next year and each year beyond until another group starts rebooking each year.
