Chinook Pass

Anyone ever hunt up in this area? I just moved here last year from Wyoming and need a good general tag area (dont believe in special draw hunts just good old over the counter tags for me). Looking to pack in and get off the beaten path.

Chinook pass is a big area , you want to narrow it down a little.

There's a lot of country up there things to watch for park boundaries, and east west closed gmu. Pick a gmu then start scouting there's a lot of animals up that way . And last but not least pending where your coming from and what season the pass does close and has closed in prior years really early and during seasons just something to keep in mind
