Fall 2016 WA Bear ***Full hunt video added***
« on: September 11, 2016, 09:23:28 PM »
My gf with her fall bear. After missing the opportunities on a few good size bears I told her it was okay to shoot this little fella.

33 yards with the Remington 700 .308. Couldn't be more proud of her for putting in the hard work and covering over 20+ miles of hiking with me in 3 days of hunting. Video will be up in a few days.

cool yeah there you go.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

That's a nice looking bear!

33 yards with that scope?  She could probably identify individual hairs on the hide!  That's really good shooting considering the distance.
