Chanterelles!!
« on: October 16, 2016, 04:06:23 PM »
Checked my spot today and they are out!  Looks like I've got a couple weeks to pick.  Found another I belive may be chicken of the woods?  What do you think?

i didn't bring it home but know where it's at!  Could have picked many more chanterelles but was soaked.  Plan to go back.  Need to find out how to get a permit to sell them and a buyer.

Good deal! That chicken of the woods should produce for several years in that location so make sure you remember the time of year for next season. It's definitely worth it to find a good buyer especially for the exotics. You wont make much on Chanterelles unless you get serious quantity but the chicken of the woods, cauliflower mushroom, lions mane etc. can fetch a pretty good price.
