Leaque Island / Smith Farm release site
« on: September 18, 2016, 05:26:50 PM »
Since I live right down the road from this site, I was thinking about hitting it up tommorow. Is there any regularity to what days they release birds? Opening day was Saturday. Hoping there are still birds there now. Any advice is appreciated

I would hope you are a senior or have a disabled license.  Tomorrow is the 5 day senior season.  Regular wetside starts September 24th.

you should take some time to sit down and read the regs.  Either that or I don't get your humor.

Yea it opens on the 24th. I appreciate you pointing that out. I was mixed up on my weekends. I wouldn't have gone without double checking the regs.

Anyways, do they always release on a certain day? Im guessing the release sites get overcrowded.

They typically release the evenings of Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at Leque.
