I'm interested in taking my newest hunter out after rabbits n squirrels for getting her ears wet. She's 7 and is wicked accurate with her cricket to 60-70 yards

I heard squirrels are greasy and all rabbits carry disease? Seems a bit off as I grew up on rabbit and loved them.
