Bad Weather = Great Weather
« on: September 24, 2016, 04:35:44 PM »
So is anyone else as stoked as I am that next weeks forecast goes from somewhat sunny through the week and then it just drops like 10 -15 degrees come Oct 1st ...plus rain. It may differ throughout the state, but for where I'm going it looks great for opening muzzy.  My co workers have been saying, well it's the beginning of fall and weather is starting to get crappy, I am not excited at all. Then I pop in and say, are you kidding me, its hunting season.  :chuckle:
If I'm not selling, I should be hunting, If I'm not hunting, I should quit!

It's better than hunting in 70 degrees and full sun, but come on!! not that stoked. It is what it is though. Little concerned bout snow up high and a sunny day or two would be nice to dry things out. Wet weather is one of the reasons I stopped hunting Clearwater and Goodman- Rain, rain and more rain last couple of years.  Where you heading? (generally of course)

Ya, it should be interesting to see what people pull out of muzzy areas.  I am headed towards raymond. There are a couple different coastal units I usually hunt.

Just thinking the same thing!  Also I think it's a new moon.  If deer aren't moving Saturday I'll eat my shirt.  Good luck out there!
