That's great!!!  I hope my 7 year old son will have a good time out with me in a few weeks.  It will be his first time out when I can shoot something.

My seven year old daughter wanted to do Hunter Education this year.  I was waiting for next year... at least.  Took her a second try, but she got through the test the second time around.  It feels great to get out with the kids in the field.

Man that is so cute! I took my little girl on a "bear hunt" last year which was really just walking up the hill a few hundred yards from the cabin and sitting in a blind for a while. She was wearing hunter orange and had a blast--but like you said it was about an hour hunt!

My six year old daughter "called in" our elk w/her Hoochie Mama last year.  And that is my story and I am sticking to it.

Good times there buddy, one hour, that's pretty good, I am impressed.  Keep at it, fun stuff for sure.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.
