Killed a buck last year quartering towards me, shot through the front shoulder all the way through the vitals and when I skinned him found the bullet lodged up under the hide near rear quarter. I was surprised there wasn't blood shot like a high powered rifle. I've posted this pic before, but perfect shroom

I've shot them at the range.  100 gr ffg t7.  1 inch groups at 100 yards.  I'm hunting with Lehighs this year though.  Same powder load and results.  They are my back up and I'm sure they will do fine.

I use 100 grains of 3f GOEX with similar groups. 100 grains of pyrodex pellets produced same thing. Burned a little cleaner as well.

Ya it will probably shoot great dude with 2 pellets. I use to drop 3 grains of 4f GOEX down the barrel when using pellets as a little primer charge. Just something I read about online and it seemed like a cool idea to help ignite the pellets. What kind of primers are you using? Also what type of gun? My traditions northwest strikerfire magnum didn't require any adjustment out of the box with 2 pellets but with the 3f it shot low and I had to adjust

From everything I've researched the RWS musket caps are the best and hottest burning. I haven't had one fail yet and I've shot the gun 10-12 times in a row. But I cleaned the nipple out with a poker. Still pretty good.

I'm no pro muzzy guy though but it's what I've heard others say is the best. I believe sabotloader uses triple 7 and I'm not sure what kind of caps

I use them as well. I've taken a deer and a lope with them and my daughter has whacked a couple of deer as well.
