Owners of Ireland Farms Dogs
« on: September 21, 2016, 11:24:03 AM »
My girl Cedar from Ireland Farms is turning 2 in a month or so. I know there are more owners out there and would love to see a picture of your dog. If you are in the Snohomish county area or near there it would be fun to get the dogs together. I have a nice big place with a pond and high grass...could be fun.  Tim you wouldn't need to hobble very far . I could always cruise over in the golf cart to pick you up.  I sure am enjoying my pup!

I'm getting around better every day.  Going to try and Elk Hunt on Oct 1.  We'll see how that plays out.  I hear you working Cedar over on your place.  Bella is 6 now, I don't need to be too vocal for her to get some work in.

Here's an inside the house pic of Bella from this year and a post hunt pic of her last year.

Whidbey and Ben are the parents.

I'll play. I live in Snohomish and we have two Chocolate Labs from Ireland. Both a little over a year old. Tilly was born March 2015, and we brought her home May '15. Been a great dog. Wife thought she needed a play mate, so in the end of June this year, we picked up Belle. Belle was born June '15, so she had just turned a year old. Someone had her as a pup, and for what ever reason, couldn't keep her anymore, and she ended up back at Ireland. We picked her up. Has been a great addition, and didn't need to go through the puppy BS again. Tilly was a pup of Silo and Ben, and Belle was Ben and can't remember the mom at the moment, so half sisters. Tilly is sitting, Belle laying down.

Thanks.  It is one of my favorites.  Hope to get more pictures of those two this season. Here is another one when they were younger.

Josie, 3 1/2  out of Belle and Rowdy. She's a great dog and has been easy to train. Looking possibly to breed this spring if anyone with a good "Dad" is interested in working a deal. Shoot me a pm if so, located right now in Lacey but on the eastside a lot.  Retired so traveling isn't a problem

Picked up Gus on Nov 18th. By far the smartest and best behaved puppy I've ever had. Learned super fast how to sit, lay down, stay. He's potty trained and only had a total of four accidents in the house. We are working on bird dog training right now and he doesn't stop impressing me.

These are my boys from Ireland Farms last weekend. 7,4 and 1.5 years old. Great dogs that are eager to go anywhere and do anything. I’d bring home more without hesitation if I could.

Can't say I have a good photo of him but my 3 year old from Ireland is far and away the best dog I've had. We are moving out of state shortly and my wife has told me I need to start looking at timing our first trip to.viait family with another puppy from them.

Our boy is an absolute swimming machine. We were visiting friends over the New Year on the water in sequim, lots of kennel time.so figured id take him to their ramp and throw the bumper until he got tired. I got tired, gave him the 'all done" and the food turned around and jumped back into the water and did a pleasure cruise to the end of.their pier and back.

I've loved every minute (mostly  :chuckle: ) of our Ireland farms lab.

She is my 2 nd lab. I trained her myself. And frankly a better dog than I deserve. She as birdy as a lab gets. Loves the water. Sits quiet in the blind in fact I only heard her bark twice ever in 11 years now. Little u settled in house, buts that my fault. She lives in a large kennel out side. But comes in during day. Rides in truck and lays right down. That’s product of my driving.

So I took my three year and a half year old dog on his first duck hunt today. I did his basic obedience stuff and basic retrieval stuff and hand signals just for fun and to burn off his energy. He’d never been on birds or in a hunting situation before ever, just orange or white bumpers in the mowed grass in the yard.

His first bird he needed a little encouragement to understand I wanted him to bring it to me but he figured it out and delivered it to hand. He then proceeded to retrieve the next 11 ducks we shot with no issue or prompting. Truly impressed with him. We ended the day with four ducks on the pond and he went and got them all! Huge shout out to Warren!
