I'm working on getting one confirmed in western whatcom/ skagit.  I've given them three pics now in the last year, I was told if I can get two in the same frame we could look at confirming a pack
In 05 they were given pics of a whole pack on a Nooksack bar with track pics and everything. They didn't do squat. DNA hair samples are all they will take and you had better keep some to keep them honest.
you mean the dog sled team that someone posted up here??

Im tired of your condescending attitude.

NWWABOWHNTR took this pic and several others but this is the only one i could find because his thread is no longer on the forum. It was taken on the Nooksack in unit 418. Not west of I 5 But there isnt a lot of country west of I 5 up here.

I saw 4 near hwy 9 a couple miles north of Sedro Woolley about 15 years ago.

WDFW is finally trying to do a hair snair test up  off Hwy20.

I was referring to the Elochman lake area.  I have family by 8th ave area.  Always have been packs of wild dogs running those woods including hybrid and shepard crosses.  Possible its them?  Wolves hunt elk and elk do roam those farm fields in that area.  That pic is just yotes.  Way to big and fluffy for wolves-they don't exist west. :chuckle:  I just read article on Wolf havens releases of Mexican wolves in Mexico.  People always telling me they don't release wolves in Wa yet they do in so many places. hmm.
MAGA!  Again..

I'm tired of people posting BS.  The "wolves" in your picture are not wolves at all and there was no WDFW apathy about the "wolves" as you're alleging.  There was another picture of them on the gravel bar that more clearly showed the animals.

I've looked for all those pics because I know the guy that took them. They aren't a bunch of huskies like you imply. No matter the visual proof (cause we are all a bunch of ignoramuses) all the department will accept is fecal and or hair samples.

So my fellow  ignorant misbelivers make sure you bring a zip lock baggie and try and find some hair or scat.

Pretty sure they want the DNA to actually confirm wild wolves. You can post all the pictures you want...but no official documentation is going to happen off of a picture. Especially a picture that far away. I'm not saying they are or aren't wolves. But they could be either. There's no way to tell with 100% certainty from that picture. That's a simple fact.

The picture of the pack along the river is a picture that I took along the Sauk in the early 2000's. It was reported to the bio by me and was told they were hybrids that were released in the area. I have another picture of an all white wolf looking canine taken just a couple miles from there, also along the river. I also saw an all black one, but was not able to get pictures of it. I had a face to face confrontation with the pack in the original picture and I can tell you, at 15', they very much appeared to be and acted like wolves.

So it's not a pic that NWWABOWHNTR took? Weird...

Those tails don't look like wolf tails.

And its very possible they weren't. It was something like 15 years ago, and that's a grainy photo.

7mm fan it's possible I'm mistaken and these are your photos. I would bet we both know Ren and either he was with you and I screwed up the details because I couldn't find his old post, or there are other pictures that look similar to these.

If these are in fact yours my apologies.
