Eastside uplanders
« on: August 25, 2016, 05:31:06 AM »
Im always looking for more upland bird hunters on the Eastside.  Im not looking for spots, as I have my own.  Just more company during the week while my kids are in school and cant hunt with me.  I do have a GSP in training, so she wont be much help this year but will be good to go next season.  I am planning on doing a lot more exploring this year, so looking for people who don't mind just getting out and maybe not even seeing birds, or if lucky finding a new honey hole.  Let me know if anyone is interested and maybe we can get together ahead of time for a beer and figure things out.

I try to hunt when I can. only went once with a friend in January on a night before decision. went out to fish trap and seen 4 birds... not pheasants. small and brown with some white. ( not very bird educated while they are flying)..  I might get some free time this year to bird hunt.

Get ahold of me if you get time.  I work 7 on 7 off, so I have a good amount of free time.  Dove starts next week, so I will be out when I can for that.

Of course Bill, I plan on getting ahold of you this season.

How far east do you go?  We would love to try upland if you're willing to take inexperienced hunters (experienced shooters though).

Aaron,   I took advantage of the senior pheasant hunt to try two spots out.  One looks interesting for the general season.

We will have to give it a go one day.

Well, considering I live on the eastside, I'll hunt most places here.  I would have no problem taking a couple new upland hunters out.  Shoot me a pm sometime and we will figure things out
