Yeah first one was at 11pm so def dark.  2 was blazing daylight and yeah you can't see my face but none of the pictures turned out.  The whole image was grainy?

If they start looking pixellated its often because the image was cropped too much. Try to zoom with your feet and frame the image correctly in camera, if you start with a 22 megapixel  camera and crop 50% in its like you now only have an 8 megapixel camera.

Good to know.  I know with some shots, like the Idaho mule deer above, I'm setting a timer and proping my phone on stuff since i'm usually alone and in steep terrain.  At least with a P&S I could put it on my tripod for a better framed pic?

I really like my Olympus TG-4, waterproof to 50 feet, shock "proof" to five or so.  Takes nice photos.  It can sync to your phone for taking photos remotely.  It also has great battery life.

The negative is that it only has a 4X zoom.

Good camera, though my TG-3 didn't survive getting smacked by a crossbow limb last year turkey hunting... it could still show pics, just couldn't take them.     However, Olympus also has a great repair program where I got a reconditioned TG-4 at a really reduced rate.
