I just got a SX3 waterfowl edition as my graduation from college gift. I love it! I upgraded from a benelli nova. Im excited to put it to the test this season.
Congrats on the new gun, should kill ducks just fine. How can you highly recommend the gun though when it has "hiccups" shooting light loads? Hopefully it won't have any problems after you break it in. Shoot straight and kill the boy ducks![/quote ]Well at least for a waterfowl gun....this gun was ment to shoot the bigger 3.5 magnum shells so cheap lighter loads like 2 3/4 bird shot don't always give the needed recoil for a inertia driven gun. Like I said it's begun to start functioning fine after a good cleaning and couple hundred rounds. For the price point though you can't go wrong, getting a inertia driven gun with Benellis patten technology that will function 3.5 inch shells no problem and even small as 2 3/4 is pretty impressive. Even SBE 2 go through a break in period and can be fussy with functioning those lighter loads. Either way not to concerned sense I do plane on hunting ducks/geese with it just occasional skeet shoot. That's just my on the gun, and will put it through its paces this weekend
Stoeger 3500 is the way to be IMO. Brother and I both have one as well as another friend in Texas.

I also had the recoil weight out. I think most people that have the issues with lighter loads not cycling still have the recoil reducer in. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
