Dog is ready!`
« on: September 29, 2016, 09:17:13 AM »
Well, i have been working with my new lab for the past several months. He earned his Junior title this summer and he is ready to get after some ducks and geese, or any bird that matter.

I used to do some duck hunting in the skagit area when I was in high school. Since then, I have jumped a few ducks out around Forks WA here and there with my old dog. Chased some ducks over in MT while I was there for a couple years. We are living in Port Angeles now, and I would love to get my dog out on some ducks. I would enjoy getting after them also, but if someone just wants a dog in the blind or on site, and I can just work the dog. More practice for me as a handler. I wouldn't shoot any ducks if that was desired.

Let me know if you want to share a blind, field, boat, beer, coffee, soggy sandwhich etc.

Thanks,

Clarktar,

If you want company I'll come any time you want on a weekend as long as its not in my MT deer hunt. I can talk to one of my buddies too and he has a lot of spots we can go but they are near Sequim. Give me a call.

Also quit worrying about birds and get ready for your elk hunt. If you need anything let me know.

Thanks Wet. Who gets ready for Elk hunting the day before they are leaving? I have been packed and my plan set since early last week!

I will be in MT likely around THanksgiving for deer. So anytime outside of that I will be trying to get on some birds. If you come out with me, you can always stay at our place so you don't have to make the long drive twice in one day or something.

Make some calls, and let me know what you find. Got to get this dog on some more ducks!
