Best place for reloading supplies?
« on: September 29, 2016, 10:33:56 AM »
Im in North Bend, Wa and curious if there are any good reloading supply/equipment  shops any where near me.
North Bend is 30 miles East of Seattle on I90. Im fine driving a ways for a good deal. I also make it over to E. Wa pretty often.

Thanks

Not sure about price, but 3 Forks in Cle Elum has a lot of reloading supplies, plus I would much rather head east then west  :)

Wes Sage of Sage's reloading supply.  Based out of Renton.  He does not carry powder all the time, but he carries tons of brass, and bullets, pricing usually cannot be beat.  He can also process your brass as well.

you could make a nice road trip starting by coming down hwy 18 1st hitting sportsmans warehouse in federal way, going south on I5 to sportco in fife.  South on I5 to Welchers in Tacoma.  East on 512 to sportsmans in puyallup, then back home.

Very nice of you. I am just getting started. I have been buying all of my equipment and prepping all of my brass while I do my research. I still have not decided what caliber I will start with.
I plan on loading:
.270
.243
.223/556
45acp
9mm
38spc/.357mag
Maybe a few others down the road.

Im happy to meet up sometime if you want to share data, powder or group buy.

If you make it as far east as Spokane, the White Elephant has had great prices for years.  I sure would not make a special trip.  The White E stock changes rapidly, you may call and they have what you want and by the time you get there they don't.
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

Any time. I enjoy reloading.  Someone showed me the ropes and it cut a lot of the learning time off.  I haven't loaded any hand guns.  But we could start with the .270?

If you make it to the East side and are close to Coeur d Alene Black Sheep there is good for reloading components.  Good prices and good selection.

Not great.  My B.I.L. got a buck on the second day of season and my nephew got a doe with his youth tag on wednesday, but that's it.  I am hunting ML now and my wife and dad got late buck tags, so hopefully the later seasons will be better.  The blue tongue from last year really made a big dent in the population. Where you over here for general season?

Yeah. Took wife out. Didnt see many shooter bucks. Maybe 5, but they were getting pushed around pretty hard. We finnaly got her one on the 4th day, but we had to work pretty hard for it.
I have that late tag as well. Hopefully we can find some white tail. The only bucks we have been seeing or mule deer.
Think Im switching to ML next year. We saw lots of Shenanigans go down from other "hunters".  I spent a whole day talking to trespassers & taking pictures of guys cutting gates, driving through fields, shooting out windows & wounding deer. It was like hunting public ground.

Most of their dies were pretty over priced. Powder  & primers seemed about standard. Pretty good for a  brick & mortar store.

It was tough! I must have covered 5k acres Just not many WT bucks I felt good about shooting running around. If we have another year with blue tongue I may just save for out of state.
I passed on a few small ones since we have meat in the freezer from general.  My buddy shot a small 4x4. We saw a handful of real nice mulies  though.
It was really windy or rainy so nothing was moving. My eyes are still sore from glassing. Still had a great time. How did your wife & Dad do?
