LOVE my Rectec, best  move I made going from another brand to rectec.

What IT did you take it to?  I have been finding 203-205* is the magic temp.  it falls apart and shreds itself when you pick it up to shred on cutting board.

Affraid I cannot help with picture.  When you add it make sure you are not getting an error of some kind, usually will give an error above when you try to attach if it is too big etc..

Finally got the pic to post!😀  lamrith, the bone slipped right out at 196.  Let rest for 2 hours then seperated the liquid fat from the liquid then poured back into the meat 1 cup and pulled.

I really like mashed taters and gravy with the loin end.  The gravy I make from the rest of the liquid and is usually devoured before any leftover gravy can be had!

I agree crunchy, the Rec-Tec is an awesome grill!!!!

WOW awesome idea on the gravy!!

I usually foil (lasagna pan) for last half, then remove meat from foil to cutting board to shred and put into another pan for the meal.  after everyone is full and snoozing I Vac seal into meal sized portions, and ass about 1/4 cup of the liquid in each bag.  These are perfect for camping or those late work nights.  Boil a pot of water, throw the bag in for 5min and you have a hot meal, that tastes like just made!

I am strongly thinking about buying a RT mini this winter, most of my cooks are smaller and mini be perfect.  If any of you others want to as well, we can work on combined order to save shipping maybe, just let me know.
