Home for now, had some family stuff come up, only filled one tag and it was the most important  ;)  :IBCOOL:
Did see some bucks and the does are grouping up due the cold temps ( it was frozen every morning) it is colder this year than in years past in my area, the colors are showing and animals are responding, not an early rut just the does are grouping already.
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Filled the engagement the 18th and filled the deer tag on the 27th with a nice doe. :tup:
Now to fill the bear tag
Will be back in the woods to help out a new hunter for modern opening weekend..
