Tomorrow is the opener and I think I need to send my shotgun back for a fix.  The lower barrel has misfired on me 6 times in the past two weeks.  So, instead of toting a 6 lb shotgun I will have to opt for a heavier one for the first couple of weeks.

It's either send it back now and carry a heavier gun or "*&&%*(*" and moan when it happens while hunting and then send it back.  That gets one a tad hotter as I had two of the misfires (or failure to fire) on the senior pheasant hunt.
BIil have you tried call Joe Shiozaki or Paul Niederman at JSAIRCUSHIION in Cali.  Joe and Paul have some significant history with Huglu and could potentially handle this for you, much quicker as well.

I did not know about either of those guys.  CZ sent me a mailing label Friday morning so I dropped the gun off at the local Fed Ex.  Hit the trifecta on delivery as my gun should be out for delivery to the factory this morning.  The warranty dept said they'd put me at the head of the line for repairs.  There's a possibility I'll get it back before the weekend, whatever weekend means to a retired person.

I myself would have taken the stock off and gave the internal guts a good cleaning. I've repaired a CZ that my buddy from the gun club owns. His problem was the barrell lug that the forearm clips into became un soldered. I sought advice from the 88 year old gunsmith from down the street and I silver soldered it back together, it's worked flawlessly for three years now. He worked on guns 50 plus years and repaired a ton of cz shotguns for the local shop that sold them. His opinion was they arent well put together.  He worked on some that had cut off nails for pins in the trigger assembly area. I have a cz o/u 410. It works fine and has about 7k rounds through it. My buddies had 12 through it when his failed,he also had a 28 guage that failed for major repair at 9k rounds. My browning 20 is my go to shooter, I have about 500k through it without a bobbe of anykind. I've seen a couple of kids at the club have trouble with their CZ O/u only when it rains, that tells me the wood is swelling in the trigger area and causing just a bit of drag on the spring . A mirouko is the same as a browning.

Here's what I received from CZ:  Work Performed: Fit new bottom barrel firing pin, Test Fired 25 Federal, and 5 Winchester shells through bottom barrel with new firing pin, no issues. Top barrel test fired good also.

I'll get it back on Tuesday.
