Aero Precision Customer Service
« on: October 11, 2016, 07:24:39 PM »
I've got take a minute to let you all know about my latest experience with Aero Precision. Last month I ordered some parts from Aero and expected them to take a few days before everything was processed and shipped. I was out of town for several days following the order and checked the tacking number when I returned home. The USPS tracking showed that the parts had been delivered to my house while I was gone.......only they were not on my porch or in my box, I did not receive them.

I went to the post office and explained this to them, the lady I talked to said she would look into it and get back with me. Several days later I went to the office again and this time spoke to a gentleman, explaining everything. He also said he would look into it and get back with me.

A couple days later I still had not heard from them so once again went to the office, only to have to talk to a third person. This gentleman told me I would have to file a claim and would have to do it online.

It took me longer than a hour online to figure out how to file this claim, if you ever have to file with them you can't do it from a Apple device. :dunno:

Once I got it figured out I sent off the claim, with a copy of my receipt from purchase.

Finally, after waiting almost 3 weeks, I received a letter from the USPS, "Claim Denied". Reading through the letter they said that their records show the package was delivered and therefor the claim is denied. >:(

Now pissed off, I sent a email (politely) to Aero explaining the entire situation. The following day I received a reply email from Aero asking me to send them a copy of the letter from USPS, so I took a pic of it with my cell and included it in my reply back.

The next morning I received another reply from Aero, telling me that they were changing the status of my order and would be shipping out new parts that day. The next day, a package from Aero was delivered to my door.......no charge.

That right there is customer service!

Awesome!

I am dealing with USPS losing a couple Money Orders right now. I will NEVER use them again! They are the worst.

Yeah, not sure why they made me jump through hoops if all they had to say to deny it is "our records show it was delivered", I told them the tracking said that on day one.

Yah had a similar situation with USPS, their system sucks! Try calling ...what a joke! Like yourself the company made it right (Midway USA). Good on Aero for taking care of a customer👍

Aero and Midway should start putting on  customer service clinics . Two weeks ago I called three local stores seeking an item, It was if I was putting them out to see if they had the item in stock. None cof them could be bothered to walk 100 feet to the shelf.  One store had them but was unwilling to verify if the specific model I was looking for was on hand. I saved myself 80 minutes worth of driving and the fuel cost by calling the main distributor and speaking to a very helpful gentleman that thanked me for the buisness. I most likely saved another 50 bucks by going direct. I try and do most of my outdoor shopping local to support people in my area. But when the attitude gets the way it is trending a guys got to do what he has to.
