Nice work. It's definitely an addiction that most people won't ever understand.

Got back out today to get my fix, after an embarrassing number of missed shots I managed to knock a few down. Shot a double towards the end of the day, decided it wasn't gonna get any better than that so I called it a day while the memory was still fresh. Just don't look at that juvenile on the right... He was the size of a quail and didn't have his adult plumage yet.

Luke certainly gave me plenty of opportunities!  Still getting used to the 28ga and birds flushing 30 yards out on point. Boot leather burned out and then some!

I love my 28ga! Probably could have done better with a tennis racket today though :chuckle:
Birds were holding tight and dog was doing a great job pinning them down

Two very mature birds in the mix. About 10-12 coveys today and one tired dog!

Haven't been out since the opener with my dad but I had a good day getting my first limit of birds and a shed. Can't wait to get back out in a couple weeks!

Getting out this weekend, trying out the snow! Good luck out there everyone.
Well, I didn't drive 13 hours just to shoot once!
