Youth Moose Success
« on: October 02, 2016, 08:23:53 PM »
My 12 year old son was lucky enough to fill his tag opening morning by 8 a.m.  A 130 yard shot with a 270 and the pretty lady only traveled 20 yards before piling up.  Died about 100 yards from the road  :chuckle:  Thanks to my buddies Clint and Brad for tagging along and making memories for my kid, his grandpa and myself.  Also to BenHuntin for all the information to make our hunt a success.

I have been trying all day to post this but I cannot upload this thread with a picture.  Anyone know what I can do to upload the picture?

If you have not resized them a lot of them will not post. Open the picture in a program like paint and then resize it down to 30% and save it. Then it should post up. Most of the time the files are just to large.

Congrats to your son :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

That's a great moose for anyone.  For a 12 year old there must be no words.  Good job to both of you.

Only his 2nd big game animal.  He drew his first blood 2 years ago on a mule deer doe.  He's definitely got the fever now!

I'm taking my son who was drawn this weekend (after his football game).

He had 4 points.

That's awesome. I missed out on this while I was a youth
I have been putting my two year old in for points hoping he gets a chance to draw, I would love the opportunity for him.
