If I catch you....its gonna be damn ugly
« on: October 05, 2016, 07:52:51 PM »
Every month or so Im very excited to check the cams on my property. I own 10 acres in the Teannaway, in a very hard to access, very private area.

I come home, check my camera to find this. Someone spotlighting a elk on my property, I saw no evidence of a kill, and the video is too short to determine what really went on but im furious. My neighbor has been out of town and I feel like they accessed my property through his.

More cameras going up asap!
The deer are exactly where you find them, and no where you dont!

Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Kind of looks like a motion light going on when and elk walks by.

Gentleman, the video is AVI, and as far as I know works with DIVx player. Sorry for those that cant see, and Dreamun elk, the closest electricity to that location is about 2k yards away and there is no light. I think its someones ATV headlights or a large spotlight......very disturbing

The only way everyone would be able to view that video is if you uploaded to YouTube then posted the link.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

worked for me.
didn't see anything other than the spotlight hitting the tree or brush and a elk or deer backing away from it.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

The point here is there should be absolutely no one in that meadow. And at 4am? I have alot of bucks and bulls on my property and I want to protect them from losers. I dont even hunt my property.

Looks like someone turned on their headlights to me. A spot light that didn't follow the deer/elk? I don't think you have much to worry about but just in case, you could sleep out in the field.

I watched the video, and yes, that surely is a bright light, especially since that's a place where there shouldn't be any lights. Too bad you didn't get more video. Maybe with more cameras up you will.

Interesting video catch.

Definitely a bummer that your property got violated like that.
