Um dude...does anyone else see the elk walking by that tree (left to right) that triggered the trailcamera on that tree to light up and start taking video...just like the trailcamera that's taking the video.

Agree with above.  Is there another trail cam over there?  Even if it is Infrared, it will look like visible light on the cameras.

Definitely a trail camera that was triggered by the elk walking by. No points for turning in a poacher here.

Yep. This is what I am thinking.

What are you gonna do if you catch them? Just curious.

Sounds like there isn't anybody to catch.
Wish I could see the video.

The more I look at the video the more I think this might be a camera from the neighbors property.  Hopefully the OP is over there this weekend and can investigate it a little and see if that is the case.  I hope it is.

That was not a elk walking by :bash: It was a big foot with a elk tossed over his shoulder walking by :chuckle:

Ok guys, even though I knew there was no other camera down there I checked. Nothing. My neighbor is a elderly guy and prob has never even seen a game camera. Without broadcasting where my place is, I can say that for Hidden Valley, its undeveloped and theres not many houses near me. This post has gotten pretty funny, but the fact is I just wanted to post what evidence I had, and maybe remind folks its hunting season and the desperate folks are out there and willing to tresspass without any hesitation. My property borders a massive chunk of private land that has no buildings or structures on it and is very wild. I think I should mention, not a single one of my neighbors allows hunting on their land. I prob didnt even need to make a post but when I got home and saw it I was furious.

Im gonna put a few new cams up in some new areas and see what I can find, and also more signs. Ill update as i can, hopefully nothing else to share!!
The deer are exactly where you find them, and no where you dont!

Can you see the elk walking by the tree and turning on the camera that's making the light?
Do you see it?
If not maybe I need the tinfoil hat...

10 acres huh? Do you have it fenced off? Maybe not but, do you at least have signs saying "No Trespassing" and "No Hunting"? If you don't have it clearly posted that there is no trespassing allowed then you might as well have a welcome sign according to WA state law.
