Issue uploading images from Moultrie camera to iPad
« on: October 06, 2016, 08:51:01 AM »
I recently purchased the SD reader that plugs into the lightening port on Apple devices.  I thought this would be a cool way to check game cameras instead of swapping cards and bringing them home to view them.  I can immediately see if there is an issue with the image capture and stick the same card back in.

Well, the images import to my iPad just find but they are cropped.  The horizontal layout is cropped to a vertical and more than half of the image is lost.  I discovered that if I hit the "edit" button the full version of the image appears and can be saved, which preserves the horizontal layout.  So, the image is there on my ipad, it just isn't displaying correctly.  I don't want to have to edit each photo to get it to display correctly since that would take more time than it is worth.  Anyone else have this issue?
I know I've lost it, let me know if you come across it

I used the lightning card reader to import trail cam photos from my Browning cams to my iPhone 6s+ this year and did not experience this issue. When previewing them, they were a cropped thumbnail, but once I imported them, the full width image showed up automatically.
