My buddy had one and it got wet and quit working.  Bushnell wouldn't do anything to warranty it.

That's no good, I keep looking at some of the cheaper ones for bow hunting and I don't see many that say waterproof??

My Leupold has been wet many times and keeps on working, my Nikon did as well, but its in a reprod patch somewhere lol.  He had his in a Badlands bino case and it failed from too much condensation.

Condensation is worse for electronics than exterior moisture.
I got a Nikon Prostaff 3 on closeout for around $169 and I really like it but can't say it's been tested by the elements yet.
Watch for a premium brand on closeout.
Leupold rfs are not well-regarded.

I have one and for me it is no good in low light conditions. Mornings and evenings it is hit and miss.
