Super frustrated....
« on: October 17, 2016, 02:17:34 PM »
So originally I'm from eastern wa. Normally hunt in walla walla county. Slowly but surely, property is being taken over and posted no hunting. The land I shot my buck on last year had a clear"feel free to hunt" sign. This year it was replaced with a giant barrel with no trespassing painted on it. All the land to be reserved, is booked. This year so far has yeilded very few deer compared to most years. Not even many does. Saw two keeper bucks, 9one one written permission land(which I didn't have) and the other on posted land(which used to be feel free to hunt and last year we got kicked off of, *censored*s tore down his no hunting signs and he was less nice nice about it)

So that brings me here. I'm stationed at JBLM and haven't had time to scout out the areas near by. Don't know where to start. But I think I want to try and shoot a black tail. Does anyone have any land they know of that's huntable? We've about tapped out our gas fund so the closer to roy/eatonville the better! Thanks folks!!

Try the Elbe Hills and across the other side of Alder Lake. Not easy to access the other side so a liitle less pressure. You'll need a Discover Pass.
