Does anyone know of any persons having any Mountain View elk tags? Cow or bull?

I know someone with a big bull tag and they were just wondering how many people with that tag were actually going to go hunt it. We only know of 4 right now but there are 16 tags out there somewhere....

. The easy way is to sit the top and glass the draws until you spot one, then head down while a buddy keeps an eye on the bull and directs you in. You can sit the edge of the 40 or work your way part way down one of the major ridges to get a different angle into the thicker stuff.
If you are lucky downing one hopefully you are near one of the trails otherwise it's a ton of work coming up out of there without pack animals.
During muzzy season I sat east of the guard station one evening and glassed two fine 6x6 bulls in opposite draws, but for me it was spike only.
There is no greater respect to have for wildlife than to harvest an animal fairly and use it's flesh to feed your family.  ~me

This bull came out of south east WA during the rifle hunt.

He was a unit jumper. Several sheds have been picked up from this guy over the years. Another awesome bull

Those are really nice bulls.  I saw that the guys camped at the Wenatchee Guard station had a big bull as well.  Not sure if they got it in Mt. View or Lick Creek though.

I know of a couple guys with sheds off him. One for sure has access to several private pieces and the other found the bull no where near his normal winter range, and it made sense as he never showed up there that year.
