I picked up this one just before muzzy season, pretty good reviews for it, kept the trailer batteries charged up but struggled with the little microwave.  I ran it for a couple hours a day and only put 2 gals of gas in it all week. It's not whisper quiet, but you can jave a normal conversation next to it. It also has economy mode that ramps it down and is even quieter. It's pretty light, too.

I love my Honda 2000's. I bought both the standard and the companion to make 4000 watts so i can run the AC on the Travel trailer.

I bought them ....ooohhhh 5 years ago maybe, $875 and 925 for the companion. Love em, VERY quiet.

They've never had anything but non ethanol gas in em and Ive found its good just to start them every six weeks or so  whether I'm camping or not.

47lbs with no gas.

I have the Honda 2000 & love it. That being said, the Yamaha & champion are good, too.

I have a Honda 2000 and it runs the ac just fine on the trailer. Skilsaw, paint gun ect all work great off it.

If youll be in Spokane anytime I have a honda 2000 I'll sell you. I have two but don't need both anymore. PM me if interested. I was going to sell on craigslist after hunting season when I have time.
If he does not take you up on that, I would be interested in your extra generator.

You will have a very hard time finding anyone who regrets buying a Honda.  Mine is powering the house as I type this.
