Trappers Donations
« on: December 23, 2016, 11:17:02 AM »

Hi Guys & Gals   :hello:
Bruce and I have been working hard to get some donations for projects that the association has going on.

As you know we have the Miss Rodeo Program every year and we need donated furs to keep this program going.  This program WSTA has a beautiful "Fur Vest" made for the this years Miss Rodeo.  Miss Rodeo only holds that title for one year.  She is presented this Fur Vest at the winter rendezvous.  The Miss Rodeo Association is a strong supporting Organization that supports Trappers and trapping in Washington State.

We also started a couple of years ago donations of your "Beaver Tails".  These are sold and the funds are put into the associations coffer to keep the association going and programs like Miss Rodeo going.

This year Bruce is asking for "Antler Donations".  You can read about this in the latest issue of The Fur Shed.  This program is one that the Oregon Trappers do every year and it creates big dollars for their association.  So we are planing on making this an annual event for us too.  So if you have a couple of antlers laying around in the barn, garage, workshop, fur shed or even out in the yard that you would like to throw away, trow them to us.  We have a Buyer that wants them.

So this Fur Season and throughout the year keep in mind that "Your" Trapping Association need some donated items.
Bring them to this years Winter Rendezvous, Spring Business Meeting and even Summer Rendezvous.
Remember this is "Your" association and we are working on your behalf.
I want to Thank You from both Bruce and myself for your donations.
See you at the Winter Rendezvous.
JC   :hello:

Hi Guys and Gals,
The winter Rendezvous is just around the corner.  So keep in mind that we could use some donated items such as beaver-tails, antlers and of course tanned fur or raw skins.  Bring your items to the Rendezvous and give them to either Bruce or myself.  See you there.
