I haven't been able to get out much this year due to military commitments but here's a pic of my brother's biggest this season.

He caught it at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater rivers @ Clarkston and it weighed around 20 lbs.

That sure looks like the boatlaunch in wenatchee off the loop trail... riverfront park I think its called...  Not doubting you but even the mountains in the background are exactly the same lol

Michael

Michael, I've never been to the boat launch you are speaking of but I don't doubt. I LOT of Eastern Washington looks the same. :chuckle:
He is actually standing at the Clarkston boat launch next to the Corp of Engineers station (under the blue bridge to Lewiston)

Here's mine. Caught on the Callawa a couple years back. This is the BEST picture I got of it :bash: It was almost dark. Unfortunately, my buddy had absolutely no clue how to use my digital so I had to have him hold it for a decent pic. It was well over 20.

I also have a pretty big summer run I caught off the Sky. I had my buddy at Blackwater do a sweet replica of it. I'll post pics of it later tonight.

mine is a spawned out summer run native hen caught in the upper green. 19lbs spawned out...so that would be around 21-23lbs before she layed her eggs.

i have 10 over the 40" mark. i never get to weigh them since they are all nates but i do have some pictures. the fish in the snow was low 20's and the one by the rod was alot bigger. sorry for the bad picture but i was by myself. the rod is a 10'6" lamiglas cert pro and it is 46" from the butt to the first eye. the reel was an okuma fina size 40 that is 5.5" from the reel seat to the bottom of the spool. it is hard to tell but the fish is laying at a slight angle  and the rod is laying straight. so basically the fish is a tad longer then it looks.

both of these fish were caught before the "out of water rule" was in effect.

MichealJ, we'll have to keep in touch. You're going to school at the U of I which puts you only about 45 minutes from my place. I'll keep you in mind next fall.

I dont have any river pics but here is a 19# Tolt metalhead. Game cop told me this fish came from a hatchery in Oregon when he checked our licenses that day, said there were a ton of them transplanted a few years before because of flooding. Of course this was years ago. I've netted several 20# fish on the Cowlitz but will have to scan those pics.

18.5 on the Pilchuck 1979, caught quite afew 14-17.Have not been able to break 20 although I had one spool me at the pipeline on the chuck that I'm sure was over 20, saw it a couple times, had to cross the river to keep chasing it and it went over the pipe and was rounding the bend when I ran outa line. Ambassador 2500c, only held 120 yards of 12lb.
