This is probably the first year in 20 years (every year I've hunted) that I haven't been in the woods on opening day. Have had a lot of good luck on this day. I hope you guys get out safe and have a lot of luck with mother nature pushing them around for you!!! LETS SEE SOME PICTURES!

My brother is hunting this year; we went out this morning and saw four does within 20 yards. There not moving much latter in the morning.

Had to come out of the woods early because a sensor went out on my truck.  Should be up and at it tomorrow. We did pass on 3 bucks before it all went south.  Sticking to our 3 point or better rule throughout the season.

Thanks.  Headed to my mechanic right now.  He thinks it will be done by the end of the day.  I was proud to see my daughter pass on a decent 2 point.  She has the November rut tag for Skoocumchuck and I have a multi-season deer so we have a ton of time left.

What kind of sensor was that - a deer sensor?  Is that how you get into the bucks so easy???   (and why you go home when it quits working?).

I need to get one of those sensors. Didn't see squat this morning. Except for a few coyotes, red squirls and few cows.

Exhaust and ABS sensors. I felt that I needed to get out while I was still on a main line instead of where we were headed. Already fixed and ready for tomorrow. My daughter is my onboard deer sensor.

Heard 4 shots in Kapowsin within 600 yards of my position this morning, by 7:45 am?
I myself, saw no deer.
