Zoom in the pic

Just a quick question.  How long ago were those trees planted?  I have trouble recognizing the age of reprod.
he was bedded down on the border between a 3yr old , and a 5-6 yr old cut. The backround. In this pic is the older cut. This is about 2600ft elevation.

Thanks, I often wondered what size trees are at 5-6 years old.  That's a real nice buck, I'd be very happy with one like that!

That hills a little steeper then it looks. One shot killed the buck but it didn't stop it from doing a couple back flips down the hill..

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.

My first blacktail.
There is not enough wilderness left in the world, or in the hearts of men.

I walked past this guy 5 or 6 times before I found him. Never found a single drop of blood.
