What to do with damaged Bowtech D350
« on: October 15, 2016, 02:46:33 PM »
I have a Bowtech Destroyer 350 with damage to one of the limbs. I brought it in for work but they are no longer making limbs for this bow. Also, I bought the bow used and warranty only extends to the original owner....SOL on getting anything repaired/replaced. So, that leads me to wonder if there is any money in parting it out? I wouldn't feel safe selling it as is. There are aftermarket limbs made for it from Barnesdale archery but not sure if they are work the $200 to turn around and sell the bow with new limbs.

Recommendation? What would you do?

If I was you I would sell it to me for $100 or hang onto it for awhile until you find a set of limbs on eBay or Archery Talk. Barnsdale does make some quality limbs.

If you liked how it shot, get new limbs. It's cheaper than getting a new bow.

If your upper limb is the damaged one, here is one for parts on eBay with a delaminated lower limb: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BowTech-Destroyer-350-Bow-For-Parts-/322293958299?hash=item4b0a37869b:g:f4wAAOSwZJBYAQ0K
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

If you like it and can fix it for $200, that seems like a good gamble, to me.
