Yup .. strip the gun down. Wipe down with your favorite gun lube. Let dry, reassemble. I hunt salt and do this after every hunt. Really liking frog lube right now.

Shot 6 today including my first triple, which was awesome. What is not awesome is watching eagles grab 2 out of 3 while your retrieving the first duck. All in all tons of fun today.

Got a mallard drake today. But while going through a flooded field to get him, I stepped in a submerged irrigation ditch and soaked everything up to my chest and completely submerged my gun. Any suggestions for cleaning it and preventing rust?
