This what our party did. I watch from afar today which was a different perspective watching this geese fold in the sky and drop like stones. When I did get in the blind with the guys...clear skies and conversation. Not a shot fired be me.Maybe tomorrow.

I went out with some friends today and we ended up with nine ducks ( Mallards, Spoonbill, Teal and Widgeon) and three Geese. I had a flock of Woodducks come in and missed the drake. We could tell we were rusty. we missed a lot more than we hit

Great morning with family and friends for the hunt.  h2ofowlr and his son joined in for The hunt. It was good to meet another member and make some great memories as well!  The geese weren't cooperating like we wanted but the ducks made up for it.  8 man limit of ducks with snows and cacklers added in.

It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

No pics, but we had our best day ever.  My son packed a gun for his first time and we bagged 2 mallards, we had wave after wave coming in and working the decoys and the rule was I wouldn't shoot until after he did.  We will have plenty of years where he will shoot circles around me but for now I'll cherish the memory of him jumping out of bed at 4:45 and the first time we called and shot together.

Ended the trip with 3 ruddys, 2 ring necks and a wood duck. Overall a great start considering the weather they were predicting!

solo hunt today, ended the day with 5 teal and a lot of misses... new gun, first time hunting from a layout blind, and missed all last year so I don't feel too bad. I need to knock the rust off with a few more hunts!!!!!

Had a fun opening weekend. Set up for snows yesterday and shot our 4 limits along with 14 ducks. Got my dad out again this morning and had snows in our face and limits on the ground in no time!
