Gorgeous animal.  I don't think I'd have your restraint.

He's a beauty. Were I your neighbor, I'd shoot him, too.

Bango, They just don't understand living in a daily situation with a big buck like that. We actually get more enjoyment watching these magnificent beasts close up and personal and in an extended period of time ---say 5 years than for just long enough to put the crosshairs on him. I just fed my buck his last meal this morning... I saw him leave my property at 7:30 this morning and heard a shot 15 min. later from the neighbors place. Still sick to my stomach...Oh well, he had a good life while it lasted....RIP big boy

I have never shot a deer, and this morning I geared up, put my orange one and opened the front door to find a 3x2 buck standing 20 feet from me. Pulled up the gun.....and waited.....and then decided to let him walk. I could have had my first deer. I couldn't bring myself to kill him, with no sporting chance. I might not kill a buck for years and I know that, a Lil depressed  about it because ive been working damn hard for 3 years, but I know I made the right choice. Oh well.

The deer are exactly where you find them, and no where you dont!

That does not make you a "true" hunter. It makes you a good sportsman though.

They seem to understand that im not going to open a window and shoot em.  Hope the neighbor doesnt kill him.  I like watching him act like a maniac in november.  He must have rubbed at least 3 dozen trees within bow range of my house last fall.  Hes back and acting goofy a bit ahead of schedule this year.  Had my bedroom window open when i went to bed couple days ago and got to listen to him butt heads with a younger 4x4 for a while.

Just wanted to say that Bango Skank the best screen name by a long shot.

Just looked out the door and hes there like 30 yards from the house.  Still legal shooting light.  Hopefully i get some good karma by ignoring him and packing my gear for my public land deer hunt.  Heading out in the a.m. to get my camp set up and start hunting some wild mountain whitetail bucks.  I got a few good ones located.
