Wyoming antelope 2016 success
« on: October 15, 2016, 10:06:21 AM »
We just wrapped our trip to wyoming for antelope. This was the first trip to wyoming for my son and daughter and they were able to harvest their first antelope. My brother was also with us and he tagged a nice goat as well. This hunt started out with calm winds the first day but the next 2 had gusts to 55mph which is a little stronger than the typical wyoming winds which made for some challenging shooting. My daughter harvested her first goat/big game animal. at 200 yds in a 40mph crosswind. Great memories were created on this hunt.

Congratulations!

I know nothing about WY.  Was this public land? DIY? OTC tags?

Yes,yes and no as the only OTC tags in wyoming antelope are leftover tags after draw is completed. Areas with leftover tags usually have little public land access.
